Mario Arellanes earned his Bachelors of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI Arc). He is inspired by vernacular architecture and the original idea of shelter and how it has transformed into various design styles.

As an Associate, Mario assists Ryan Levis with design studies, presentation boards, renderings, working drawings, and communications with project consultants and city department agencies. He is most proud when he sees a project transition from paper to reality, especially when permits are issued and construction begins on site. Mario welcomes the opportunity to assist clients with the many questions they may have with their projects.

With 19 years of experience, Mario's passion for architecture remains as strong as ever. He follows industry developments by staying current with architecture news and new technology. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. His IT expertise is invaluable in solving software and hardware issues.

Outside the office, his passion for art manifests in painting, and he actively contributes to his community by caring for and rehoming stray cats in Los Angeles. Mario's multifaceted approach to architecture and life exemplifies his commitment to crafting spaces that resonate with people and enhance community wellbeing
